Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is one of the busiest airports in the world, situated 15 km south-west of the city. Below you can find some information about Schiphol Airport near Amsterdam.

To and from Schiphol Airport
- By train:The train station is situated directly below the airport. You can pick up a free baggage trolley from the platform. Via Schiphol Plaza, you can walk straight to the departure or arrival hall.
- By bus:Airport Schiphol has an extensive network of direct bus lines connecting it to the surrounding towns and cities.

Car Parking
There are two short-term car parks (P1 and P2), both connected to the terminal and Schiphol Plaza by covered walkways, recommended for stays of up to 48 hours. Long-term parking is available in an open-air car park (P3), situated 4km (2.5 miles) from the terminal. A free 24-hour shuttle bus links P3 with the terminal. A VIP valet service is also available; reservations are required (tel: (020) 794 0800 or 0900 7244 7465).
