Paris is served by three international airports, Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Orly International Airport and Aeroport de Paris Beauvais Tillé.
Charles de Gaulle International Airport
Charles de Gaulle also known as Roissy Airport, in Paris, is one of Europe's principal aviation centres, as well as France's main international airport. The airport is located near Roissy, 25 km to the north-east of Paris. Food at this airport is very expensive and there are hardly any benches around.
Facilities Charles de Gaulle
There are bureaux de change and at least one bank branch and ATM in all three terminals. Post offices can be found in terminals 1 and 2. Wireless Internet access is available, as is mobile phone rental. Although expensive, there are plenty of bars, restaurants and a wide choice of shops in all terminals.
Public transport Charles de Gaulle
In addition to public transport, Air France operates shuttles between Charles de Gaulle and Paris. Price is EUR 10. RER trains serve the airport in conjunction with ADP shuttles. Line B runs from Terminal 1 and from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, St Michel, Luxembourg, Port Royal and Denfert-Rochereau, with connections for the métro. A taxi to the city centre will take around 45 minutes.
